What changes the price of one room

• Room size and ceiling height. A master bedroom or a living room with a high ceiling takes longer than a small bedroom. High ceilings above 2.8m are +$90 to $390.
• Wall condition. Peeling paint, cracks and holes need repair first: $40 to $290, depending on the damage.
• Extra colours. A feature wall in a second colour is $40 per wall.
• Sealer for new or patched walls: +$40 per room.
• Mould. An anti-mould ceiling upgrade is +$40 per bedroom.
• Doors and wallpaper. Door and frame set +$50; wallpaper removal $40 per wall or $90 per room.

1. We clear the walls: furniture moved to the middle of the room and covered, floors protected.
2. We prepare: fill holes and cracks, sand, and seal patched areas.
3. We paint two to three coats, depending on the wall and colour.
4. We touch up, clean up and move the furniture back.

A single room is usually a short job, so the rest of the home stays usable. Keep the windows open afterwards so the smell clears quickly.
